Emily L. Butler
Emily is a Creativity Coach and Holistic Health Educator. Many years ago, a yearlong internship under the tutleage of Saratoga Springs Acupuncturist Deborah Kozlowski introduced Emily to the healing power of Chinese energy medicine, and gave her a deep appreciation for the healing arts. She soon discovered Eden Energy Medicine, which is similar to Traditional Chinese Medicine, though it takes a somewhat different approach to healing and does not use needles. Emily joined the Eden Energy Medicine Professional Certification Program, and uses the tools gained from her studies both for herself and her clients every day. Emily resonnates with the empowering approach of Eden Energy Medicine, saying "I am excited every day to share the techniques that have helped me so tremendously with my own health. I'm able to teach from a place of sincerity, because these techniques truly have worked for me." In addition to her studies with Eden Energy Medicine, Emily infuses her practice with the body awareness gained from a lifetime of dance training, three Yoga Certifications (Ashtanga/Iyengar from Urban Yoga, Prenatal Yoga for Women from Janice Clarfeld and Yoga Trance Dance teacher training from Shiva Rea) and exploration in the Alexander Technique.
Emily also holds a Reiki Level II certification, and Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude distinctions from Skidmore College.
She maintains a private practice in Manhattan, offering workshops, guest speaking events and retreats throughout the East-Coast.
Work and play are the same. When you're following your energy and doing what you want all the time, the distinction between work and play dissolves"

We have within us stores of patience and practicality, intuition and invention, all of which are called to play in difficult times. Not one of us is a saint, and yet we carry within our hearts the strength of ages..."
